Comcast to increase MDTA cost in 2012

Monthly charge will increase from $250.00 to $450.00

We have been informed that Comcast plans to increase their MDTA costs beginning January 2012 for new subscribers. The current cost of the MDTA is $250.00 a month in most markets. This will increase to $450.00 a month beginning January 2012.

The MDTA multiplexor is installed where your cable feed comes into your building and basically un-encrypts your signal allowing your TVs to pick up channels as they once did in the past without the need for a cable box and remote per TV.

Please note that there are several other options available to you including modulation and the Broadcastvision remote that will control a Comcast cable box eliminating the need for 2 remotes.
