Comcast Cable Options

28 channels offered without the need for a cable box

Our recent communication with a Comcast Customer Service Representative explains the options currently available.

28 channels will be offered that will not require a digital cable box. This service will be available for approximately 2 years. See Below.

If the channels you prefer are not on the list, you would be required to purchase a Digital Cable Box.

Comcast confirmed that they are converting the digital signal to analog so TVs with both analog and digital tuners will be able to receive signal.

For those of you who currently have personal screens in front of your cardio equipment or have integrated screens supplied by the cardio equipment manufacturer, you will not have to be concerned about the type of tuner your TV has since Comcast is converting the signal back to analog. If you are satisfied with the 28 channels that Comcast is providing, you will be able to continue to use the personal screens without any interruption.

For those of you who want more channels than the 28 channels provided, you will be required to purchase a digital converter box from Comcast. This will pose a problem for those of you who want to continue to have the customer control each individual TV since Comcast will state that a converter box will be needed per TV. There are some options for you to consider and we would like to speak with you to discuss in more detail. These options would not require you to replace your existing screens.
